Yes, a shuttle will pick-up/drop-off at the AC Hotel for the Welcome Party on Friday evening. More details to come.

The Portland Country Club is a quick 10 minute drive north from Portland (confusingly, located in Falmouth). We’ll be inside the venue where the bar and food will be, but you’re welcome to pop outside for some fresh air or to catch the gorgeous sunset (fingers crossed!). Please avoid the green or be mindful of any golfers who may still on the course.
-
Cocktail attire. While not as formal as the wedding day, still feel free to get snazzy and dapper with your outfits.
-
Yes, a chartered Casco Bay Lines ferry boat will take you to Diamond Cove for Saturday’s events. For the return trip at the end of the night, there are regularly scheduled ferries back to Portland. More details and departure times to come — stay tuned.
Or you may schedule a water taxi if you want to arrive and/or depart at a specific time.
The reception must end at 9:00pm due to the Diamond Cove Association noise ordinance, but we’ll have a little time before departing the island to walk down to the dock. As long as you don’t wander off (please don’t) and stay with the group (please do), you’ll have no problem getting back to Portland. We’ll all look out for each other and make sure no one is left behind.
-
The ceremony and cocktails will be outside on a grassy lawn, next to the tent where we’ll be for the reception. When the ferry boat docks at the wharf, there is a short 5 minute walk up to the celebration area. Vehicles are not allowed on Diamond Cove, but if you are in need of transportation, please let us know and we will coordinate with the venue to get you there.
-
Formal attire, black tie optional. This is your excuse to get all decked out and fancy! We are! Just be mindful of footwear. You’ll be on a ferry boat, wooden docks, a grassy lawn, and making a short walk from the dock to the wedding tent, so wedge or block heels might be preferred over tapered heels, or flat soles that aren’t slippery.
-
Please include this on your RSVP card and we’ll be sure to accommodate.
-
While we love the kiddos, the weekend is adults only.
-
The venue can only accommodate guests listed on the invitation.
-
The Farewell Brunch will be in the Grand Trunk Room on the first floor of the AC Hotel. This is casual, not a formal plated brunch. You’ll be able to help yourself to food, drinks, and a seat at whatever table you like. So feel free to dress comfortably. Hope to see as many of you as possible before you head home!
